Meet the Team

martin_kells.png Martin Kells – Managing Director

Having extensive (too many years to mention!) experience in print sales, Martin acquired Graphics and Print in 2006. His aim was to build a business that was passionate and enthusiastic about printing as well as being hugely capable, and with our customers and colleagues at the centre of everything. This meant lots of early starts and late nights, and while he has achieved what he set out to do, it’s been a fantastic and incredible journey, with the prospect of the next five years shaping up to be equally as exciting.

If Martin could play any character in any film, who would it be and why?

John Cusack in Hot Tub Time Machine. Given the nature of the industry, time travel would prove extremely useful!

Something about Martin you wouldn’t know just by looking at him.

For many years hang gliding was Martin’s passion and release, having flown all over the UK and Europe, which has now been consumed by a beautiful wife and stunning daughter.

Mark Wolton – Graphic Designer

With nearly 40 years in the print and reprographics industry, having originally served his apprenticeship upon entering the trade, Mark is fully conversant with all the major desktop publishing packages used universally.

Mark worked for Lyreco for a number of years and is a key component in maintaining a number of blue chip company accounts at Graphics and Print. One of the more unusual aspects of his long career in typesetting has been designing and creating school examination papers in the more exotic languages, such as Greek, Russian and Polish.

If Mark could play any character in any film, who would it be and why?

Captain Jack Sparrow, star of The Pirates of the Caribbean, so well portrayed by Johnny Depp. Mark loves this series of swashbuckling films, made in the true Errol Flynn vein! Jack Sparrow is a chancer, a rascal and an opportunist, but has a human side and, oddly enough, a sense of fair play.

Something you wouldn’t know about Mark just by looking at him.

Back in the late ‘70s/early ‘80s Mark spent quite a few hours enjoying a beer (or two or three…) with the legendary hell-raiser and rocker Ozzy Osbourne at his local on the Staffordshire-Shropshire border.

Dean Cox – Studio Manager and Graphic Designer

Dean spent 19 years as a Graphic Designer for Schneider Electric, employed in the UK based Marcomms department.

Leaving Schneider Electric in 2004, Dean spent the next four years as a freelance Graphic Designer, and one of his key clients was Schneider Electric, where he was heavily involved in the UK operation of the Framemaker to InDesign file conversion and the introduction of the new corporate graphic guidelines.

In 2008, Dean joined Graphics and Print as a Graphic Designer.

If Dean could play any character in any film, who would it be and why?

John Cleese, Life of Brian. “Apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?”

Something about Dean you wouldn’t know just by looking at him.

Dean has a degree in Dairy Farming. He was one of the microbiologists on the Research & Development Team for Clover Butter and Lymeswold Cheese. Dean is also a qualified Class 3 Football Referee

Something about Mike you wouldn’t know just by looking at him.
